Brands this creatively confident don't come along often. Most briefs arrive with an idea of what the site should look like. The Slight Twist brief arrived with a clear understanding of who they are and what they stand for, which made our job a lot more interesting. When the creative direction is bold and the client backs it, the work tends to go somewhere worth talking about.
The challenge, as always, was making sure the site earned its keep commercially. Looking good isn't the brief. The brief is always about what the site actually does for the business. For Slight Twist that meant Webflow handling the front-end and Shopify running the ecommerce side. Both platforms doing exactly what they do best. It's a Webflow-Shopify combination we've built before and it works well when the project calls for it.
The awards are genuinely pleasing. But what we actually care about is the conversion rate.
